Golden Visa UAE 30 000 Salary – Now AED 35000 ?

The UAE’s 10-year Golden Visa program, launched in 2019, now offers a salary-based route for professionals earning a minimum AED 35,000 per month under updated eligibility criteria.

Applicants must submit a valid employment contract, a salary certificate showing at least AED 35,000, a passport copy and health insurance GDRFAD. Processing typically takes 7–8 working days, and total government fees for the visa issuance, medical test and Emirates ID come to around AED 4,650.

What Is the Golden Visa?

The Golden Visa is a long-term residence permit that enables foreign nationals to live, work and study in the UAE without the need for a sponsor UAE Government Portal. Introduced under Cabinet Resolution No. 56 of 2018, it supports investors, entrepreneurs, scientists, outstanding students and special-category professionals with renewable 5- or 10-year terms.

Updated Salary Requirements: AED 35,000 Threshold

Under the salary-based category, applicants must furnish a salary certificate demonstrating a minimum basic salary of AED 35,000 per month and work in same company from 2 years. While the Federal Authority for Identity & Citizenship specifies a AED 30,000 minimum for skilled professionals in Abu Dhabi, many service providers and consultants continue to recommend AED 35,000 as the industry standard Added. Previously, executive directors needed at least AED 50,000 in monthly pay to qualify under the executive category FAICCP Security.
